Hello, I’m Candice Kemper

I find joy in connection, creativity, and exploring the world with my husband, Jordan and our four children - three boys and one girl, ages 12, 10, 8, and 6.

For the past three years, our family has been living on the road in our skoolie -- a school bus we transformed into a tiny house — spending winters adventuring through USA, Asia, Australia, Namibia, and Guatemala. I love international travel, discovering new cultures, learning Spanish and finding adventure through snowboarding, camping, cliff jumping, caving and kayaking.

When we’re not exploring, you’ll often find me enjoying a good latte, practicing Pilates, gardening when possible, or building and creating things with my hands.

I value kindness, growth, loyalty and intentional living, and I strive to bring passion and authenticity in everything I do.

I’m also a compassionate birth and postpartum doula, dedicated to ensuring every woman receives the support, care, and encouragement she deserves throughout her perinatal journey.

I am deeply passionate about creating a nurturing, safe, and empowering space for growing families. With a calm presence and knowledgeable guidance, I offer emotional support, physical comfort, and practical help from pregnancy through the postpartum period. Including referrals when needed, to medical care and local resources.

My mission is to make Postpartum Doula Support available to all women, including those in remote areas. I have online Postpartum appointments available on my booking page for those that desire care and may not have access to a local, in person experience.

I desire to walk beside you with empathy, respect, unwavering support and evidence based information — so you can feel confident, cared for, and truly seen during this transformative time.

I am currently located in the Parksville area of Vancouver Island, BC for service to any Birth and Postpartum clients within 50km.

I am also available, Online for Postpartum clients anywhere in Canada as well as Internationally.
